With almost two decades of experience in business development, Tsvetomir Yordanov has built a career at the forefront of the pharmaceutical industry. As Group Business Development Director at Frontier Zdravlje, he leads strategic partnerships, licensing, and expansion initiatives across global markets, driving sustainable growth and innovation.
Tsvetomir has accumulated invaluable experience in senior roles at some of the most renowned names in the pharmaceutical industry, including Zentiva, Alvogen, and Actavis (now part of Teva). At Zentiva and Alvogen, he played a pivotal role as Senior Business Development Manager, driving strategic initiatives and partnerships. During his time at Actavis, he progressed to Associate Director, where he was instrumental in securing high-impact in-licensing, distribution, and brand acquisitions that shaped the company’s growth trajectory.
His expertise is particularly focused on generics, with a special emphasis on complex injectables, respiratory products, OTCs, and medical devices. Over the years, Tsvetomir has built a strong track record of successfully navigating diverse markets, including Europe, Asia-Pacific, MENA, Australia, and Canada, securing valuable deals that have expanded global reach. His experience in key account management and project oversight ensures that every initiative, from concept to market launch, is executed with precision and a focus on sustainable growth.
Tsvetomir holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and a Master’s in Public Finance from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia. A strong advocate for long-term relationships and fostering innovation, he is committed to shaping the future of pharmaceutical business development.
Interests/Hobbies outside of work: Game nights with his kids, long walks with their dog, and as much sports as possible – basketball, snowboarding, swimming, wakeboarding, and SUPing.
