With over 13 years of experience, Marko Matovic is a highly regarded legal, compliance, and regulatory professional who has worked across various industries, including Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, IT, Media, and Telecommunications. He is known for providing strategic legal counsel and guiding organizations through complex legal landscapes while effectively managing risks to support long-term growth.
At Frontier Zdravlje, Marko serves as Legal and Compliance Director, advising senior leadership on legal matters, overseeing litigation strategies, managing regulatory filings, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and ESG principles. His proactive approach to risk management has been instrumental in the company’s continued success.
Prior to joining Frontier Zdravlje, Marko was the Group Head of Legal at a leading regional media group, where he spearheaded high-profile M&A transactions and developed strategies in areas such as content acquisition, antitrust, and distribution rights.
Earlier in his career, Marko advised international clients in the IT, telecom, and pharmaceutical sectors at top law firms. He holds a law degree from the University of Belgrade and has specialized in pharmaceutical management and marketing at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Additionally, he gained international experience at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic.
Interests/Hobbies outside of work: Passionate about traveling, exploring new places with friends, going to the gym, playing squash, and reading books.
