He is a visionary leader, investor, and former top-ranked investment banker, now at the helm of Frontier Zdravlje, a leading B2B pharmaceutical company based in Serbia. His journey reflects his deep expertise in business development, M&A, corporate restructuring, and strategic growth.
As the Co-Founder and CEO of Frontier Biopharma, Kiren has led high-profile investments and operational strategies across the biopharma, generic, and consumer pharma sectors. He specializes in corporate carve-outs, turnarounds, and driving growth strategies for biotechnology firms.
At Frontier Zdravlje, Kiren has overseen a remarkable transformation, having led the acquisition in 2021 and thereafter establishing Frontier Zdravlje as a leading, independent B2B pharma company in Europe. Under his leadership, Frontier Zdravlje has achieved significant milestones, including the building of a high-value, loyal customer base, launch of niche & differentiated therapies (e.g. monoclonal antibodies) and establishment of a high-impact international management team.
Prior to his role at Frontier Zdravlje, Kiren was a top-ranked investment banker at BofA Merrill Lynch, a leading US-based global investment bank. As Senior Vice President, Kiren executed over $100bn of mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets transactions, focused exclusively on the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Kiren holds an Honours degree in Business Science (Finance) from the University of Cape Town and has concluded multiple investment banking and management training programmes.
